The University Grants Commission (UGC) provides financial assistance to eligible colleges which are included under Section 2 (f) and declared fir to receive central assistance (UGC grant) under Section 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956 as per approved pattern of assistance under various schemes. The College is privileged to enjoy the status granted to it and also to receive 2f and 12-B recognition from UGC Act, 1956. This facilitates the institution to apply for various research grants to organize Seminars, Conferences and also for major and minor research projects. This unique feature places the institute at even more higher echelon and the wheels of research of NLC are accelerated in never before manner.
